Hi, Iโm Stacy Havener.
Iโm not typical Wall Street.
Iโm a blue-collar girl from the Berkshires who combined a lot of grit with a little glitter to become a successful female entrepreneur in the investment world. Born in the โ70s, survivor of the โ80s, and still in love with the โ90s, Iโm obsessed with all things old school โ hip-hop music, classic cars, and vintage furniture.
How does a blue collar girl hustle her way to Wall Street?
In college, I was an award-winning writer, Academic All-American soccer player who took calculus as an elective and dreamed of becoming a literature professor.
Letโs just say my soccer ball bounced to Wall Street.
My high school soccer coach was the founder of a billion dollar small cap equity boutique. Coach knew Iโd have to pay my way through grad school and offered me a job so I could earn some money and follow my dream.
I felt like an impostor, but I had a good teacher. Turns out my love of words and passion for story-telling brought something different to an industry that prides itself on numbers and decimal points.
Different works, dollars follow.
While I never expected to build a career in sales and marketing and certainly not in the investment world, I found my calling and my tribe.
At the age of 30, I took the leap to start my own firm.
I founded Havener Capital, an agency dedicated to helping boutique asset managers build, launch, and grow funds. In my career, Iโve raised $8 billion, which has led to $30 billion in follow-on assets under management.
Weโre just getting started.
Most days, you will find me in the office in Newport, RI, sitting next to my reggae-loving husband-slash-business partner. A Dunkinโ coffee in my hand, our rescue pitbull at my feet, listening to โ90s rap while sparkingโฆ a revolution.
Not only in asset management, but also for small businesses.
Wall Street is really good at one thing: making money.
The system I built to raise money doesnโt just work on Wall Street; it works for people running businesses, raising money, or trying to close more deals. Whether youโre from Wall Street, Silicon Valley, or Main Street, you can now leverage my two decades of success to increase your revenue.
"I believe in underdogs, the rebels building their dreams against the odds. Doesnโt matter who we are; we all start from the bottom. Weโve all been underdogs, myself included. Guess what? We can win.โ

Your new creative hire walks into a meeting. They're the only ones in the room without a CFA designation. They can't rattle off the Sharpe ratio from memory. If you asked them to explain a basis point, they might pause. But as the analysts debate decimal points and performance spreads, the creativeโs focus shifts. They're not staring at the spreadsheets. They're watching the faces around the table.
